The Perfect Internet Marketing Product

Get it right, and all you need to make a $million is a single product.

So here's my checklist of the perfect internet marketing product.

·         ·         There should be an existing, provable demand for the product (check the market first!).

·         ·         It should have strong appeal to people with spare cash (Don't write a book on getting out of debt).

·                   You can either create it yourself, or have it created. Either way you must have full rights.

·         ·         The product should be unique to you in some way. (Beware of products with "non-exclusive rights").

·         ·         It can be developed in a reasonable timescale.

·         ·         The product should have low manufacturing costs.

·         ·         It should be possible to easily scale up production. (When a product takes off - the problems start).

·         ·         The product should be cheap and easy to pack. (Don't neglect the cost of peripherals - they add up!).

·         ·         It should also be cheap and easy to ship. (Always check this out thoroughly first to avoid shocks later)

·         ·         It should be possible to market the product on a shoestring or even for free. (See this article)

·         ·         The marketing and delivery can be operated from anywhere in the world. (Work on a beach)

·         ·         The product requires no licensing by governments. (Keep well away from the dead hand of bureaucrats)

·         ·         It can be sold without restriction in all or most countries of the world.(Maximise your market).

·         ·         The product has a high perceived value in relation to the material and production costs.

·         ·         The benefits are easily demonstrated and proved.

·         ·         The product should carry minimal legal implications.(Keep away from lawyers).

·         ·         It requires minimal after sales support or servicing. (Don't get your profit sucked away).

·         ·         It should have a built in, organic progression to repeat or "back end" sales.(Where the real money is!). 

·         ·         It should be paid for before delivery (avoiding cash flow and collection nightmares).

·         ·         It should be respectable and enjoyable to do. (Then you can say: "My work is my hobby").

·         ·         No massive overheads in the form of fancy premises or huge plants. (More profit for you).

I have been looking for the perfect business for forty years and finally found it when the internet came of age a few years ago. These are the only products and this is the only business that will allow you to escape to freedom, whilst still keeping your business ticking over, delivering ongoing residual passive income with minimal effort.

It's the on-line world wide publishing world of e- books, Dvds and streaming video.
